Lopo Champalimaud
Co-Founder & Investment Partner
Lopo founded and built hair and beauty booking platform, Treatwell, from 2008 to the end of 2019. As CEO, he led the company through a major European expansion campaign that included five acquisitions, and Treatwell is now a market leader in 11 countries and 31 cities across Europe.

Previously, Lopo co-founded the world’s first online market research company, Cyber Dialogue, and created Fulcrum Analytics, one of the first online CRM companies focused on helping marketers to collect, manage and analyse internet consumer details. After exiting Fulcrum in 2004, Lopo pivoted his focus to the B2C market, becoming MD of Lifestyle at online holiday booking service lastminute.com.
After the success of Treatwell, Lopo decided to hand over the management reigns so that he could focus on investing in the next generation of young consumer businesses. He also holds several Board and advisory positions.
As a long-term member of the Verlinvest family, Lopo co-founded V3 Ventures in 2021 to invest in earlier-stage companies. He is based in London and leads investments across Europe, the UK and the US.
Arjun Vaidya
Co-Founder & Investment Partner
Arjun founded Dr. Vaidya’s in 2016 and built it into the largest Ayurvedic direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand in India. By the time he sold the company four years later, in one of India’s first D2C exits, he had successfully scaled the brand across 16,000+ zip codes, had over 2 million customers, and had launched over 80 products.

Prior to founding Dr. Vaidya’s, Arjun studied in the U.S. at Brown University and worked for consumer-focused investment firm L Catterton in India. He joined the Verlinvest family in 2021 and co-founded V3 Ventures alongside Lopo. Arjun is very passionate about the Indian startup ecosystem and is a mentor and advisor as to various companies.
Outside of work, he runs the podcast Direct to a Billion Consumers on the consumer space in India and also runs India’s largest cohort-based course on building a D2C brand. He is based in Mumbai and leads investments across India and Asia.
Abhiram Bhalerao
Partner
Abhiram is a an early-stage investor with extensive experience investing in consumer brands and consumer technology businesses in India. He started his career as an investor in 2017 and has partnered with founders building consumer brands, and consumer technology and financial services businesses across the early-stage and growth-stage investment lifecycles in India and Asia.

In his previous endeavours, Abhiram has worked with Fireside Ventures, a consumer-focused venture fund in India and with 360 One Asset Management as a part of their Private Equity team, where he primarily focused on investments in the consumer and financial services space. Abhiram also had a brief stint with Invest India, the Government of India's National Investment Promotion & Facilitation Arm, where he co-authored a comprehensive report on the Indian consumer industry.
Abhiram holds an MBA High Honors degree from the prestigious University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Abhiram is also a rank-holder member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Abhiram worked with Verlinvest first in 2022 and then joined as a founding member of V3 Ventures in 2023 to invest across India and Asia.
Jimmy Dietz
Partner
Jimmy is an early-stage consumer investor passionate about creative industries and helping entrepreneurs to build successful businesses. From 2017 until 2022, he was an investor at Slingshot Ventures, an early-stage consumer fund investing across Europe.

Before his time at Slingshot, Jimmy founded Amsterdam’s first venture fund investing in university spin-outs. Throughout the years, Jimmy has been an advisor and board member to several brands and public organisations.
He is based in London and leads investments across Europe, the UK and the US.
